Welcome

If you are a retuning Summer Dance Academy participant, supporting parent or guardian, or a prospective newcomer, I thank you for your interest in the WVU School of Theatre & Dance 2024 Summer Dance Academy (SDA). On behalf of all of us who make SDA happen from year-to-year, I welcome you to our website. This year marks the 14th year for SDA.  We look forward to another exciting and stimulating week of dance. As in past years, we will be presenting a wide variety of classes. In keeping with our mission, we will continue to have a sensational lineup of classes taught by gifted and experienced faculty that include members of the WVU Dance Program and guest artists from near and far.

I invite you to take a moment and read through the following information about our offerings. I hope that you will find a program that best suits your dance aspirations or that of your young dancer. Please feel free to share the site with others who might also be interested in joining us. Contact us if you have any questions or need further assistance with the application process.
