Jade King Carroll is a noted director who has worked in theaters across the country. For the last month, she’s spent her days working with students in the School of Theatre and Dance at West Virginia University.
Falbo Workshop Series opens "Fefu and Her Friends"
Associate Professor of Acting, Cornel Gabara, leads an eight person, all female cast of WVU School of Theatre and Dance students in the kooky, mysterious dramedy "Fefu and Her Friends" by Maria Irene Fornes. The non-traditional structure gives the audience a glimpse into these women's lives through vignettes of scenes happening throughout the same house. Runs Nov. 2 - 3 at 7:30 and Nov. 4 at 2:00

Dance scholarship brings legacy full circle
Virginia Chittum taught thousands of children the value of education, discipline and an active lifestyle through her love of dance. One of those children – Debbie West – is now an adult continuing Chittum’s legacy and teachings through a scholarship fund at West Virginia University.
