Teen Academy Counselors
Jayda Giles will be entering her senior year at WVU this fall as a dance major with minors in general business & leadership studies. She is member of the WVU Hip Hop Dance Team and an officer in the National Honors Society of Dance Arts at WVU. Jayda has been dancing for 19 years and plans to continue dancing and teaching after completing her undergraduate education at WVU.
Liana Brooks is a current sophomore at West Virginia University studying dance and multidisciplinary media studies with a focus on entertainment media, strategic social media, and advertising. She currently runs the WVU’s Student Dance Association social media pages and is very excited to be a part of the WVU Summer Dance Academy as a counselor.
Isabella Runion will be entering her junior year at WVU this fall and is a double major in dance and exercise physiology. She is an officer in the Student Dance Association and is also a member of the Dance Science Club. Isabella has been dancing for 19 years and plans to attend physical therapy school after completing her undergraduate education at WVU.
