Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the WVU School of Theatre & Dance 2013 Summer Dance Academy (SDA). This year marks the 3rd year for SDA. Last year marked the first year for our Young Academy. As we continue to grow and build on our successful two years, this year our newest addition is the Teacher Academy, presenting professional enrichment to dance educators from both the private and public sectors of the dance field.
In keeping with our mission, this year we have an exciting lineup of classes taught by very gifted and experienced faculty that includes members of the WVU Dance Program as well as guest artists from around the country. This summer promises to be a week packed with dance and creativity. I invite you to take a moment and read through the following information to get further details about our three different programs. I hope that you will find a program that best suits your dance aspirations and needs or those of others you know who would be interested in joining us.
