WVU Youth Academy
The Youth Academy introduces children to singing, dancing and acting in a fully staged production and a professional setting.
As always, the kids are given progressively more important roles as they grow older and gain experience. Our younger kids perform primarily in the chorus, as they learn theatre terminology and etiquette, hone singing and dancing skills and work their way towards speaking the text.
Our age range for this academy has some flexibility. Some tweens wish to continue
working on musical theatre, and hold
off on joining the Teen Academy.
