Summer Cosplay Academy is a one-week program where students will build costumes and accessories from start to finish to represent a specific character.

Open to students ages 13 and up, the class will allow students to craft their heart out!Students will construct armor and accessories from a variety of materials such as fosshape, Worbla, and fabric. They will also learn to cut, dye, and style their own wigs!

But what is cosplay if you can’t wear it? Students will also learn to utilize costume through specific acting and improv techniques. Show off at your next convention!

All classes take place on the West Virginia University Evansdale Campus in the Creative Arts Center. Led by WVU Faculty and guest artists who are dedicated and skilled in working with young artisans.
